Vile - Reincarnation
Description
A scan of a plush toy (Vile) from the game series Reincarnation using the new blend function. The doll is about the same size as the scanner bed and I've combined two scans. I was unable to put it on its side or stand it up as that would alter the doll's arm position so the back was not scanned. Also it is not anatomically correct, that's just an unfortunate blend artefact :)

Compared to the patchwork nature of the previous meshing I am really impressed with how smooth the blending now looks. Congrats to the team on a great job :)

Have you tried re-meshing an older scan with the new texture blending? It should work, AFAIK.

This actually is a scan from Jun-2015 that I recombined / meshed using the new blend, so I'd say it works quite well :) I've uploaded what the previous one looked like from whatever version was available back then.
